My mother was born on the 1st of September 1977 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. She lived in a big house, always very full of people, as her grandmother had twelve children, some even close to her age. Her favourite hobbies as a child were playing with her friends and family, collecting coloured card paper and playing volleyball. My mum heard about the world news on the TV and radio as her grandfather loved technology and always kept up with the latest devices. Growing up, she had many different animals including quails, dogs, macaws, etc… Her first memories are a birthday party for her 4th birthday and going to Rio de Janeiro with her mother (my grandmother) as a birthday present! Her mother and grandparents were always very present in her life and as she had a large family, she was always surrounded by people. Like my family & I, she is also Catholic. Religion impacted her life since she had to go Catholic schools and go through the sacraments. It also influences her values and morals.
